MEDIA BLASTING

Media blasting is the technical term for propelling a high-pressure stream of material (media) at a surface in order to smooth, roughen, or remove containment from the target surface. A popular method of media blasting is sandblasting, though there are many different kinds of media available depending on the situation and surface in question.

Examples of blasting media include:

Sand
Glass beads
Aluminum Oxide
Walnut Shell
Corn Cob
Ceramic Grit

The most obvious benefit of media blasting is its ability to remove surface contaminants, such as rust, lime run-off, chemical residue, and mold, while leaving the substrate unharmed. This can give new life to masonry, steel, and other surfaces without requiring a complete overhaul or replacement of the structure. Seeing very high-profile locations, working with a great team, traveling around and constantly meeting new people.

Laser measurement

What kind of jobs do you like to work on the most?

Large infrastructure, high volume of CPP Sprayliner

What do you like most working with customers?

I’m a people person, I love working with all customers and constantly talking with them and learning more about each other.

What do you like to do in your spare time? Hobbies? Interests?

In my spare time, I like to do projects around my house and yard, relax in my hot tub, hang out with family, and occasional golf and sit on the beach.

Favorite place to vacation? Favorite movie? Music artist? Any other fun facts?

Jamaica is my favorite vacation spot, it’s also where I got married. I don’t have 1 favorite movie, but I like dumb-humor comedies. I don’t like anything too serious so I stick to comedy movies, favorites are old-school Chris Farley and Adam Sandler movies.

Mini/Bobcat.

Waterproofing and working with the equipment for floor work/flat work.

What do you like most working with customers?

Showing them we are top notch and know what we are doing.

What are your hobbies or interests?

Ride, shoot have fires, grill.

All country/rock music, Deadpool, and Eustis, Maine.

Working alongside my brother, Ralph, and as the third-generation in a family-owned and operated company, it has been a privilege to carry on the family name, and the company's reputation of quality work and customer service.

As the third-generation in a family-owned and operated company, it has been an honor to grow the company with my brother - and business partner, Travis, and a privilege to carry on the family name. I am eager to watch my son James grow, and I look forward to teaching him in the same way my father, Ralph, Jr. and grandfather, Ralph, Sr. taught me.
